Engineering and Economics Teams at Meet the Expert

The team from Strathclyde had a weekend over at Glasgow Science Centre, where we hosted live, interactive demos to engage children and adults as they explored the demo floors of Glasgow Science Centre.

Chris developed an Interactive air pollution game to explore the ideas behind how we use data and sensors to find sources of poor air quality in a city.

Sandeep had an interactive card game where participants could explore various factors that go into poor air quality, and what their outcomes could be…letting people see how each little factor can potentially have many connections and knock-on effects.

Grant and Jack had a competitive card game that allowed them to discuss air quality and climate policy, highlighting how some decisions can be either good or bad, and how their reach can be either local or country-wide.

Alejandro and Muhammed Zaeem developed a physical model of indoor and outdoor ventilation, showcasing how proper ventilation strategies can help remove particulate matter from your home.
